Alberto Nardelli, from Salento, studies bayan accordion at the Second Level Academic Biennium at the Conservatory "Tito Schipa" in Lecce under the guidance of Maestro Germano Scurti. 

He starts studying bayan at a very young age performing in 2015 with the orchestra "ICO T. Schipa di Lecce" for a Shostakovich symphonic concert and also performing his first solo recital at the age of sixteen.

He is the winner of numerous national and international classical music competitions. In 2017 he is selected to represent Italy (obtaining the fourth place) at the prestigious world competition "Trophée Mondial de l'accordéon" in the category "Masters" held in Onet-le-Château (France).

In 2018 he wins again the fourth place at the most prestigious and coveted competition in the world of accordion "71st Coupe Mondiale" in Kaunas (Lithuania) in the category "Masters Coupe Mondiale".

In 2019 he wins the first absolute prize in the international accordion competition "Italia Award 2019" - Roseto degli Abruzzi(TE). In the same year he wins the XIV edition of the National Prize of the Arts in the musical interpretation section - accordion subsection, at the conservatory of music "L. Perosi" in Campobasso (seat designated by MIUR). 

In 2020 he is a guest with the bayan accordion trio "Sirius Accordion Trio" in the television program "Unomattina in Famiglia" on RAI1 in which he represented the conservatory Tito Schipa of Lecce and the bayan accordion in the field of Italian artistic excellence. 

In 2021 he wins the first prize in the XXI edition of the International Music Award of Val Tidone in the section "Solo Instruments". In the same year he wins with the Sirius Accordion trio the second prize at the international chamber music competition "Trio Pakosky" held at the Teatro San Matteo in Piacenza, in front of thirty-five ensembles from all over the world. In the same year he wins with the Sirius Accordion trio the first prize in the 4ème concours international "Accordéons-nous.org. 2021" in the "Chamber Music" section held in Mons (Belgium), the second prize at the 46th edition of the International Accordion Prize (PIF) in the city of Castelfidardo (AN) and the first prize at the "74th Accordion World Cup" held in Germany in Munich in October. These have been some of the most important recognitions that have been conferred to him.

 

He has played in various theaters: Teatro Apollo in Lecce, Teatro Campana - Osimo (AN), Cineteatro Louletano (Loulé - Portugal), Teatro Tarentum - Taranto, Teatro Savoia in Campobasso, ”Hercules Hall" (Herkulessaal) of the Residenz in Munich, just to mention a few.

 

He has participated in several festivals and given concerts in different concert seasons: "Ascoli Piceno Festival" (Marche), "Chamber Festival of Capo di Leuca" (Puglia), "Festival LagoMaggioreMusica" (Lombardia), Il Sallentino Festival" (Puglia), Ur-Fest in Popoli (Abruzzo), Marina di Nettuno Yachting Club in Messina (Sicily), Camerata Musicale salentina di Lecce (Puglia), Amici della Musica di Campobasso (Molise), Stagione di Musica da Camera di Fabriano (Marche), "Arabian Teras Festival" (Puglia) playing on stage with Daniela Miglietta (aka Mietta) and many others.

 

He has also attended masterclasses with masters of international fame: Friedrich Lips, Vojin Vasovic, Dario Flammini, Pawel Feniuk, Petar Maric, Massimiliano Pitocco. At present he is preparing to take part in the most prestigious international and worldwide competitions for accordion and he also holds an intense concert activity as a soloist and as a chamber musician with the Sirius Accordion Trio.
